Made from stretch fabric, they feature preformed knees, reinforced seams and a G-1000 Eco fabric on the back, front legs, knees and lower inside legs, where a second layer of fabric is added for reinforcement against wear and tear from hiking boots. In addition, an extra piece of fabric in the crotch and the position of the inner seams reduce the risk of rubbing. These pants also reduce the risk of sweating, since a ventilated, clear-zip opening from the knee to the hip and along the calf evacuates excess heat. The fly is also stretchable for additional ventilation.

Other details include two leg pockets, one with a clear zip and the other with a flap, plus an inside mesh pocket for small items. Raised hand pockets keep contents in place, even when seated, while a strap adjustment with lower leg buckle and hook allows ski or hiking boots to be attached.
