The Petzl RIDE 45 CM is a compact, ultra-light, upright ice axe specially designed for touring and freeride skiing.
Weighing only 240 g, this ice axe has a 45 cm shaft and a beveled tip that allows it to be easily stored in a backpack without risk of damage or injury. Reliable and high-performance, this model is equipped with a steel head offering the same performance as a traditional ice axe, a 3 mm fine-tipped blade at the end for good penetration in ice and a curved shaft with a machined grip for a good grip. The quality of anchoring is always there.
