Description

The Marker F12 TOUR EPF is a very robust touring binding, allowing for a higher DIN setting, but above all with the advantages of the wider EPF frame.

All the proven features of this binding are combined with the strength of the EPF frame. This means you can handle the widest touring skis on any terrain. Improved force transmission makes it easier to control impulses in all snow conditions.

This model is designed for powerful touring skiers who want to be safe in all conditions, even when making fast turns on steep slopes.

S: 265-325 mm base length
L: 305-365 mm base length

Please note: bindings are delivered without ski brakes. Ski brakes are available separately. If you purchase a ski + binding pack, ski brakes corresponding to the width of the ski will be fitted.

Caractéristiques

  • DIN values: 4.0 - 12.0
  • EPF - Extended Power frame: incredible power transfer in all situations. Recommended for skis wider than 89 mm
  • Backcountry Technology: integrated wedges in the bindings allow you to quickly switch between up and downhill. The wedge can be adjusted to position 7 or 13. When lowering, the BCT lever is protected against accidental opening. A 40 mm rearward shift of the binding in BC mode provides better balance and easier conversions
  • Stainless Steel AFD: All Marker bindings are equipped with a movable AFD (Anti Friction Device) and guarantee the highest precision release, virtually unaffected by dirt, snow or ice. The height of the AFD is adjustable according to the sole of the shoe.
  • Bute Triple Pivot Light: Particularly compact with a horizontally mounted spring. The combination of the anti-friction plate and the anti-friction elements integrated in the sole supports ensures a particularly precise release behavior. An aluminum bridge on the upper part reinforces the structure, without adding unnecessary weight.
  • Hollow Linkage heel cup: this heel cup is designed to ensure optimal support for all types of soles, hiking or alpine. Its hollow aluminum axle reduces weight and maximizes torsional stiffness. This very robust heel structure is particularly appropriate for the most difficult conditions.
