No need to choose between freeride, freestyle or carving, the STRATOS from Jones is a snowboard that can do it all.
This hybrid all-mountain board is designed with the body of a directional freeride board and the spirit of a freestyle board. With its playful sidecut and playful flex, its 3D Contour 3.0 tip and sole deliver impressive performance in deep snow thanks to excellent lift. In addition, the directional rocker profile and Traction Tech 3.0 construction keep the board on edge at speed, while the textured plastic topsheet combined with basalt stringers amplify torsional stiffness and reduce board vibration on rough terrain. It also benefits from the new Float Pack inserts, which offer the option of moving the binding backwards for deep snow days.
Finally, for improved durability and ecological concerns, this model is built with organic resin and an Ultra Core wood core.

- 3D Contour Base 3.0: designed for freeride boards, it provides good balance for a more comfortable ride.
- Shape: Directional Rocker, a hybrid rocker/camber model defined by more rocker on the nose, then rocker on the tail and camber between the bindings. The rockered nose floats the nose of the board and improves maneuverability, while the camber underfoot provides support and response. The slightly rockered tail maintains the power and stability of a traditional board, while preserving the quality of turns and an easy landing when landing jumps. The directional effect promotes buoyancy in deep snow and edge hold on hard snow.

- Rsine Bio: biosourced poxy composed of 27% vegetable-derived carbon instead of petroleum-based carbon. The organic raw materials used to manufacture bioresin are co-products or wastes of plant-based industrial processes. Bio-resin requires 33% fewer greenhouse gas emissions than conventional poxy.
- Co-plastic top layer: castor-seed-based bioplastic. This ecological material is ultra-light, scratch-resistant and water- and snow-repellent (snow sticks less).
