This model is très solide thanks to its lightweight aluminium 7075-T6 alloy construction and Sandvik Nanoflex® steel alloy inserts on the head and spike. This ice axe has more than one trick up its sleeve. It's the ideal companion for your snow excursions, and can also be used as an anchor during a rescue manoeuvre on a glacier or even when crossing a cornice. It also has a more aggressive handle curve for more technical use, without being a hindrance to walking or penetrating snow.
Finally, the ice axe�s technical features can be enhanced with the Trigger Fast Lock support.
