This BEAL rope, 5 mm in diameter and 6 m long , is a non-dynamic rope used as an aid for many rope access activities such as climbing, mountaineering, splology and work at height.

Non-dynamic, they are not suitable for energy absorption and therefore should not be used as belay ropes. It is important to protect these cords from sharp edges and other mechanical damage.
