Origin of the Brand Beal

Beal was originally founded in the 1950s. The family business has been growing through the decades as younger family members got incorporated into it. Beal is centred on the development of climbing ropes and related gear. The biggest turning point in the company's history came in the 1980s when Michel, Pierre, Yannick, and Eric met. This group consisted of grandchildren of Beal, a high mountain guide and an icon in the mountain climbing history.

Beal is best known for its mountain climbing ropes. One of the most famous is the Joker rope that was developed in 2005. Beal ropes are known for their strength, security and weather resistance.

Carabiners
