The exterior of this model has very few conventional seams and uses VAUDE-only silicone sealing technology.
This makes it completely rainproof, very sturdy and tearproof. In addition, its fabric construction allows it to be self-supporting without the use of additional tensioners.
Its vertical walls allow one or two people to fit comfortably in the tent, while the two apertures provide space for gear storage and cooking in all weather conditions. Slightly curved ground edges on the outer tent and mesh material over large areas of the inner tent, along with rain-proof vents in each bay, ensure optimal air circulation. The small rear vestibule can be folded up for extra ventilation.
This tent combines the advantages of single pitching and double pitching as the inner tent can be set up either alone or attached to the outer tent depending on weather conditions.
