From winter and summer mixed ascents to ice climbing and ski touring, theASCENDOR 35:40 from Rab is a particularly versatile backpack .

This model has the advantage of being able to go from a large backpack to a small summit bag when speed and lightness are required. It has a zippered flap and side openings for quick access to gear, as well as A-frame ski carrying loops. It's also made with a solid 50% recycled fabric in the sides and base for optimal abrasion resistance, while the rest is made of an equally solid but lighter 35% recycled fabric to ensure minimal weight. Water, tear and abrasion resistant, this rugged model can handle any condition. Suitable for all seasons, it has numerous attachment points and features (ice axe holders, hydration pocket compatibility, etc.), while its spring steel frame and internal HDPE panel can be removed to customize the weight, stiffness and fit of the pack to suit the day's objectives.

The bag features a customizable waistbelt with removable straps and padding, and a snow molded back panel and side compression straps to properly compress and stabilize gear. This allows for greater freedom of movement in difficult terrain.
