The Pieps POWDER BT BEACON is a 3 antenna avalanche transceiver that riders can rely on.
Easy and intuitive, this transceiver has a state-of-the-art design for ease of use because minutes are precious in an avalanche. Thanks to the Pieps 3 antenna intelligent mission system, this avalanche transceiver has a maximum range of 60m. The device has an automatic switch from mission mode to search mode and a scan function. This gives an overview of all buried victims within the maximum detectable range. In addition, the marking of the victims increases the efficiency in case of multiple rescues.
On the other hand, this model has a large notch for a better readability and benefits from a high performance marking and an automatic antenna change. In fact, if the transmitting antenna encounters interference from electronic devices or metal, the other antenna is automatically activated.
The Powder BT even includes an inclinometer to reliably check the terrain inclination.
