Specially designed to offer optimum performance on rock, ice and snow, the FERRATA TOUR GORE-TEX from Hanwag is a multi-functional mountaineering boot for men, as it can be worn on high-altitude routes, on mixed terrain and on easier hikes with glacier sections.

This model has the advantage of being compatible with studs and benefits from a customisable volume control that incorporates highly effective HANWAG TubeTec Rock sole technology. This sole integrates soft PU in a robust TPU shell to ensure comfort on ascents and descents, as well as exceptional performance on rock, ice and snow. The soft TPU 'tube' protects the softer, cushioning polyurethane part, while the TPU ribs and internal reinforcements ensure the sole's precision and stability. On the other hand, the outsole features its profile Vibram Integral Light, while the reinforced heel and the proven Vibram Mont compound ensure excellent traction on mountain descents.

This shoe also has a reinforced TPU climbing zone at the front of the sole to optimise stability around the big toe. What's more, the lower part of the upper in classic leather for a perfect fit is combined with a soft collar in highly abrasion-resistant polyamide, reinforced with PU threads. Stable and flexible, this shaft offers the ankle flexibility needed for precise placement on the rock.
