"Un dernier tour de piste" is the second book written by Martin Fourcade, five-time Olympic biathlon champion and seven-time World Cup overall winner.

Three years after the publication of his first book, Martin Fourcade gives us a logbook of his last season, one year after a post-Olympic season that was both athletically and mentally proving. The Pyrenean biathlete recounts his season both from asporting point of view but also from a more personal and intimate perspective. We discover that beyond the high-level athlete, the man and the father of the family talks to us about his emotions and the backstage life of a professional biathlete.

The book isrichly illustrated with a collection of splendid watercolours by Oskana Pinchuk, a 14-year-old Russian fan and artist.

Author'sBiography: Martin Fourcade is a French biathlete who has won 5 Olympic titles and 11 individual world titles. A seven-time winner of the Crystal Globe, Martin Fourcade retired from the sport on March 14, 2020 in Kontiolahti, Finland, after achieving his 83rd and final World Cup victory. He is now President of the Athletes' Commission for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. He is also the organiser of the "Nordic Festival Martin Fourcade" (next edition: 4-5 September 2021).
