A simplistic but very useful climbing accessory, Climbing Technology 'sALP LOOP 120 is a ring sewn from dynamic rope, designed for use on long routes and in general mountaineering.

Measuring 8.3 mm in diameter, this ring can absorb the stresses of a fall and is very useful for a variety of purposes. It can be used as an anchor on traditional routes, as a lanyard for belaying or abseiling with a double rope, but also as a lanyard for natural anchors.

It complies with all the requirements of the UIAA 109 BELAY LANYARD standard, which requires that the rope ring withstand three consecutive falls with a fall factor of 2 and that the maximum force of the first fall is less than 10 kN.
