With the same features as the classic model, this ice axe is distinguished by its hammer, which provides a surface suitable for effective pitoning in mixed or high-mountain conditions. On the other hand, it is the first 1/B-type ice axe to achieve such a high level of technical expertise in the ultra-lightweight category. It has a blade shape designed for optimum anchoring whatever the type of surface, while its tip offers a large enough surface to quickly clear away snow before screwing in a pin. Measuring 43 cm, this compact, lightweight ice axe doesn’t take up much space inside a rucksack.
This model comes with protectors for the blade, tip and point.
