The CAPTIS from Black Crows is a good compromise between a piste ski and a go-anywhere ski.
With 90 mm at the base, this model has enough lift to take advantage of powder as well as mogul fields. This intermediate width makes the CAPTIS a more responsive ski, with faster edge transitions. Its double rocker provides great maneuverability, control and immediate pivoting. The classic medium camber adds maneuverability, and the taut sidecut provides good curve control for a fast, easy, cut trajectory. The tolerant flex makes this ski accessible and comfortable.
