Origins of Wilsa

Established in France, Wilsa has been manufacturing equipment for the military and outdoor sports enthusiasts for more than 80 years. Employing more than 100 people in a plant in Lille, all of their products are manufactured on-site. Each year thay fabricate more than 8000 sleeping bags. In 2004, Team Wilsa was created. Led by Karine Baillet, a group of skilled adventurers from all over the world compete in international events, winning the Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge from 2007 to 2009. In their strive for excellence, and their love of outdoor pursuits, Team Wilsa embody the aims and objectives of the company itself.

With a track record of customer satisfaction and design innovation, Wilsa produce a renowned range of sleeping bags. All Wilsa bags can be adapted to the morphology of the individual sleeper. Their inner linings, with elasticted seams and free-flowing inner draft collars, allow for maximum comfort and promote thermal performance. Wilsa's famous Flex System allows some of their sleeping bags to be lengthened to snuggly fit the sleeper's height. With lightweight comfort, multi-layer construction and reinforced shells, Wilsa's sleeping bags come in a variety of different colors and materials. For the most serious wilderness explorers and those willing to brave harsh conditions and plunging temperatures, Wilsa's down-filled bags are most suitable, but they also manufacture more cost-effective bags for more temperate climates. Wilsa sleeping bags are easy to wash, and offer lightweight sleeping solutions for experienced trekkers and more inexperienced hikers and explorers alike.
