The Ticket To the Moon story began way back in the 1970's when the brands founder, Charly, fell deeply in love with hammocks, often modifying his father's old straw nets to create his very own comfortable hammock. Over the next two decades, Charly would travel the world, perfecting his hammock making skills as he went along. However, it was in 1996 when Charly discovered an incredible new fabric called parachute nylon, that his quest for the perfect hammock began. His new lightweight, versatile design became an instant success, selling across Europe at music festivals and street markets. Since then, Ticket To The Moon have gone from strength to strength, opening their first shop in Bali in 1998, their first factory in 2000 and successfully diversifying into other eco-friendly products ever since.
