Origin of the Ride brand

Founded in 1992 in the small town of Redmond in Washington State, Ride first began trading with just four snowboard models. The boards sold exceptionally well and quickly established Ride as a major player in the snowboarding marketplace. Two years later, Ride launched a range of clothing which was also very successful and allowed the brand to further expand its offerings. In 1995, Ride brought out its first snowboard bindings and an award-winning range of lightweight boots. A hit from the first days, Ride snowboards, bindings and boots continue to dominate the snowboarding landscape today.
