Origin of the Raidlight Brand

Raidlight was founded in 1999 by Benoit Laval, an enthusiastic level trail runner. The company was started in France in a small garage. At its start, there were only 10 products on sale. Raidlight has grown rapidly since these humble origins, with the first exports being made in 2006. Although the company was started in France, they adopted English as their main language since it was more suited to an international market.

The Strengths of Raidlight

One of the biggest strengths of this company is the fact that it is owned and managed by an outdoor enthusiast. The owner is also an international level trail runner. Benoit was actually selected for the French Trail Team in 2010, and to date, he had raced more than 100 trails on various continents.

As you can probably tell from the name, the company produces light products. The weight savings allow people to move faster on trails. The products are also designed to be ergonomic. Raidlight stands out from the competition by fully involving their customers in the design process of their products. Members of the community can share their ideas with the company through their collaborative R and D.

Caps

Raidlight has designed many caps, and these are all suitable for the harsh weather. The caps are made to be waterproof so that they can keep the rain out. Also, they have a stiff peak to make sure they don't get carried away in poor weather. Most of these caps have an optional Sahara style neck. Some caps that have been made by this company include the Raidlight Cap Outdoor Academy, the R-Light Cap, the MP+ Cap, and the MIF Lazerdry.

Skirts

The company is also known for its excellent skirts. These are made to be stretchy. Underneath the skirt, there is a pair of shorts which is also stretchy and very comfortable. The skirts have large pockets where you can store some items as you enjoy your activities. These pockets can be accessed on the side and back of the skirt.
