Kimberfeel, originally known as SALAC, is a family-run company founded in 1956 by Jean Vial. Originally a distributor for other outdoor brands, the company began developing their own products in the 1980s, applying knowledge gained from over 50 years in the industry. The Kimberfeel trademark was registered in 1992, paving the way for their range to leap to international prominence. Since then Kimberfeel have supported exploration and adventure, sponsoring a Scooter World Tour and Arctic expeditions as well as individual winter sports athletes.
