How Jetboil came to be

Jetboil was formed in New Hampshire of 2001 by a pair of friends who worked out of an old woolen mill to make worthwhile products. In 2003, they succeeded, and in the years that followed, they formed new, more serious offices.

What makes Jetboil work

Recognizable stove design

Jetboil has a brand-specific stove design incorporating features such as a ring of corrugated metal around the burner, protecting it from the cold and the wind and keeping it hot. Jetboil's stoves also have a burner adjustment valve to make keeping the heat at just the right level a snap.

In-house fuel

Jetboil makes its own fuel and packages it into specially-made gas canisters. This gives them an understanding of everything that makes a gas stove tick, and it also means that fuel bought from Jetboil is made with portability in mind.

Some of Jetboil's stove models are even made specifically to accommodate these brand-friendly gas canisters. And as you can imagine, Jetboil's stoves are tailor-made to work with Jetboil's fuel for maximum effectiveness and best boil time.
