As a certified B Corp in the outdoor industry, Faction meets high standards for social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. Faction invests in the environment by donating 1% of sales of skis from the Agent, Dancer and La Machine ranges to non-profit associations that fight against global warming, in partnership with 1% for the Planet.

Fraction Brand Origins
The Faction brand was originally founded in Verbier, Switzerland in 2006. A group of passionate friends got together and decided that they wanted to turn their mutual love for mountain sports into a business that would cater to like-minded people. They have a simple goal: offer a range of skis suitable for both women and men. The brand develops their skis according to the most demanding quality requirements for a variety of different sports such as freeride. Their catalogue is split into two parts. The first is versatile skis intended for a wide variety of people. The second is specialised skis for use by top athletes.

The Candide Range
This is easily Faction's star range. The Candide range is comprised of four different ski models and it is incredibly popular. Within it, there are specialised Freeride skis, All-Mountain skis, park only skis and others which are suitable for a variety of different environments. There is a pair of skis for everyone within the Candide range. For certain types of practice, the specificity of these skis is essential.
The Nine5 Range
The Nine5 range offers a counterpoint to the Candide variety by offering a much more specialised selection. Skis within this range have specially designed skates that are perfect for frozen or uneven terrain and are just as suitable for particularly stable or newly groomed tracks.
