Origins of Degre7

Degre7 is a French company, founded in the city of Chamonix in 1982. Its pedigree was clear from the start, as it was founded by extreme skier Patrick Vallecant, who used his own sporting experience to develop the brand. Degre7 was, famously, the first company to produce brightly coloured ski wear, and is still widely known for its vivid colours.

Strengths of Degre7

Degre7 is popular with both amateur ski enthusiasts and professional skiers and snowboarders. Among those who choose to wear this brand are French World Cup competitor Charles Navillod and snowboard Freeride World Champion Elodie Mouthon, as well as many other respected professionals.

A splash of colour

It may seem hard to believe nowadays, but back in the 1980s, Degre7 was the first company to bring bright colours to the ski slopes. Today, its designs are still known for their vivid use of pink, orange, yellow and blue - but there are more subdued options available too.

Technological benefits

There's more to Degre6 than just colour. The company uses its own Climset and Climerstretch fabrics, as well as Breathset and Primaloft, to ensure stretchiness and breathability all day long. Top quality wicking fabrics are part of this brand's trademark, and garments from Degre7 are sure to be protective and comfortable in all weather conditions.

Degre7 Bestsellers

Ekosport carries a range of Degre7 ski garments, including trousers, jackets and fleeces. Choose from a number of distinctive colours, or go for something in a classic neutral if you prefer.

Jackets

Jackets from this brand are particularly popular, as they are designed by experienced skiers and snowboarders. This means that they have a number of convenient, practical features which have been roadtested on the slopes. Degre7's fleeces are designed for comfort and functionality. As well as being made from top technical fabrics, they have convenient pockets, with a second layer of fabric to provide warmth. The ski jackets come with a number of great features, including a water-repellent finish, interior mesh pockets, a detachable hood and goggle wipes.
