Founded in 1996, DeeLuxe has a lengthy pedigree. Also sold under the brand name Raiche until 2004, DeeLuxe is a major designer and manufacturer of hard-shell snowboard boots. This includes 2007's iconic Rough Diamond range. DeeLuxe has invested in a commitment to innovation, particularly concentrating on making a softer, flexible boot. Not as well known as main competitor Head, DeeLuxe nevertheless has a dedicated army of professional devotees, and routinely makes the top ten lists for outstanding footwear.
DeeLuxe has set itself apart from competitors by focusing almost exclusively upon creating a comfortable boot. The most recent innovation is the Softcore sole. By stripping unnecessary reinforcements and supports out of the shell, the result is a boot with natural flexibility. Packed with orthopedic supports and padding, DeeLuxe boots are the true slippers of the slopes.
The full range includes a boot for every occasion, including back-country, all-mountain, freestyle, and hard-boots, with versions for men, women, and children. Within these categories, DeeLuxe offers an extensive range of boots for different snowboarding styles and abilities. Most recently, DeeLuxe has invested in developing Footloose, which is gear orientated towards binding-free powdersurfing and noboarding, both of which demand enhanced control and flexibility.
