The A.LIGHT E SET 18 ski touring and freeride backpack is a new-generation AIR BAG made by ABS. The 18-liter volume of the loading area is perfectly suited to short outings or powder sessions at the edge of the resort. It is independent of the carrying system and has a compartment dedicated to your safety equipment, such as your shovel or probe.
The innovative Alpride E2 safety system stores the necessary energy in a battery, enabling the mono airbag to be triggered in seconds, without the need for pyrotechnics. It also lets you check its state of charge and operation via a small display, and recharges via a USB-C cable. It's also ideal for skiers traveling by air.
The ergonomic carrying system is well thought out, with a foam back and continuous shoulder straps to keep you in position and comfortable. A safety strap runs between the legs to prevent the bag from riding up your body in the event of an avalanche opening.
