SWIX FLUOR HF06BWX 40GR 2019

The HF06BWX is a very popular wax for alpine skiing and cross-country skiing, and it has demonstrated its good properties on artificial snow as well as on natural, compacted and transformed snow. The BW additive of gliding varnish reduces friction in cold conditions or in polluted snow.

It can be used a race wax by itself or as a base for a Cera F powder such as FC06X.

HFX means with high fluoride content. These are unique waxes since they allow greater acceleration, are effective under various temperatures, are resistant and repel dirt.

The SWIX BW (Black Wolf) waxes contain solid lubricants as additives. Advantageous on snow with large grains, artificial snow, dirty snow or dry friction. This additive contains a remarkably low friction coefficient.

SWIX

Swix is a Norwegian company manufacturing ski wax, ski poles and sportswear. The company belongs to the Ferd AS investment company and has their headquarters in Lillehammer.
Swix was founded in Sweden in 1946 by Börje Gabrielsson, based on the Swedish skier Martin Matsbo's experience of ski wax.
Swix was the first manufacturer of wax for modern skis and takes a scientific approach to their development work.Their wax is color-coded by type of wax, a practice that has since been adopted by the entire wax industry.
Production was originally based in Sweden, and subsequently in Norway near Oslo.
In 1964, all production was transferred to Norway. In 1974, Swix purchased Liljedahls Skistavfabrikk in Lillehammer bringing the brand under the Swix name, this resulted in the company becoming a leading manufacturer of ski poles. Swix was bought by Ferd in 1978. Finally, Swix purchased the Norheim company in 1989 and has used it to become established and grow within the sportswear market.
